Scope and Content This open truss roof is of wood with a wooden principal rafters and purlins on metal trusses. The trusses are of steel with top and bottom steel chords between which run the trusses. When the tension and compression webs making up the truss are in a 'W' arrangement it is known as a 'Fink Truss'.
