Scope and Content Based on a survey undertaken on 27 July 1909 by A O Curle, RCAHMS, and described in his journal (MS 36/9, p259) where two drafts are held. Curle noted that 'owing to the ruined state of the structure, the thickness of bracken [...] trees, this plan cannot be regarded as perfectly accurate though drawn to scale as far as possible'.
