Scope and Content Symbol stone at Keith Hall, Aberdeenshire This symbol stone stands on top of a mound known as Caskieben in the grounds of Keith Hall, near Inverurie. It was originally found in the River Don. This is a view of the stone. There are three symbols carved on the SSW face. At the top is a double-disc and Z-rod. Below this is a salmon. At the bottom is a mirror-and-comb. The Z-rod is unusual in that it is bent almost at right-angles. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
