Plan and sections of North Berwick Law showing archaeological features.

GV 007013

Description Plan and sections of North Berwick Law showing archaeological features.

Date 22/1/2019

Collection Historic Environment Scotland

Catalogue Number GV 007013

Category Digital Files (Non-image)

Copies SC 1770421

Scope and Content The archaeological plan of North Berwick Law was developed using a variety of HES sources that included a 3D image-based model, oblique aerial photographs and GNSS survey data. In addition, vertical aerial photographs, historic maps and documentary sources were consulted. The plan has been archived as an Adobe Illustrator file (Collection Item: GV007013) and a derived raster image (SC 1770421), while a layered PDF (WP005412) has been created in Adobe Indesign which includes, in addition to the plan itself, a slope visualisation of the image-based model, and a vertical aerial photograph. The PDF also includes hyperlinks to individual records on the Canmore website, which describe particular elements of the historic landscape. The site descriptions that have been published on Canmore are supplemented by a feature database which provides information on each individual element, available as a database (DT000141) and as a PDF (WP005305).
