Scope and Content Interior. Blacksmith's shop, Inaclete Road, Stornoway, Lewis. Blacksmith at forge, heating and hammering white metal turf cutter head from its flat, unworkd state. Forming of the turf cutter underway. The anvil and tongs are used to shape the white hot metal into shape. When completed this will be attached to a wooden shaft.
