Scope and Content Lost Art workshop, Dan Lea explaining process of renovation Ross Fountain, Waverley Gardens, Edinburgh Main staatue arm repaired in the past with expanding foam, wire mesh and car body filler. The hole left contained organic material. To reinstate the piece lost, it would have to be replaced. Void filled in arm with wadding material, overlaid with plastic, filler, sanded and carved to produce a mould with plastic as backing. Wadding removed, new piece cast using mould. This new piece was then inlaid, braised to attach all edges to main casting being repaired and polished. Sound: sound Colour: colour Running Time: 1 minutes 48 seconds (01:48mins)
