Scope and Content Process: Casting Iron - casting to be replaced on Ross Fountain, Waverley Gardens, Edinburgh being cast at the Haigh Foundry near Wigan, Lancashire. Crucible is then moved to the moulds. Molten grey iron stirred to remove flashing and to aid pouring into prepared moulds. Returned to cauldron to be recharged.
