Description Interior. South range, ground floor, Showroom, west end. View of customer entrance and decorative plaster mouldings, moulds and patterns for ornamental wall and and ceiling ornamentation. The cabinet to the left contains moulded, reduced size copies of the 'Elgin Marbles' friezes from the Parthenon in Athens to be sold in sections for domestic settings.

Scope and Content Patterns are the master patterns used to create a mould from which multiple plaster casts can be taken. Patterns are traditionally made from wood, although resin is also used for durability.
