Scope and Content Interior. Turning Mill. First Floor. Mr Duncan explains how individual bungs were singled. The bungs were for herring barrels. Each group of 4 bungs were cut from a pre-formed template. These templates were cut on the ground floor on a special lathe. The bungs were put into sacks by weight. If one bung was damaged it was rejected and replaced. Sound: sound Colour: colour Running Time: 00:30 mins
