Scope and Content The blender breaks up and blends types of washed but unprocessed wool. Oil is added prior to blending. This department is where the Norwegian dala wool is blended. The machine is fed by hand. The wool then goes through rollers similar to a carding machine but with much bigger teeth. The wool is then sent to the scribbler which is the first phase of carding.
