Scope and Content Dark red album with gold lines. Spine missing. Fine quality photographs from Crichton family holidays in parts of the Highlands, mostly of scenery, some including buildings and a few interiors. Nearly all titled and dated. Two are professional prints (GWW and JV.) Snaps include "Sulky Betty" at Kinrara Hill and "Sentimental Betty" 1894; Hew and George Crichton 1892; Kinrara Bobbin Mill; Kennedy's Cottage, Aviemore 1892; Mrs Anderson's Cottage; Rosemount, Tain (entrance , exterior and interior); Betsy and Marjorie MacDonald with Betty Crichton 1892; Mrs Campbell, and Willie Crichton, Lesley, Elsie, Margaret, Amy, Fanny, Tom and Miss G and Mrs T Sinclair, Robert Crichton and children with Jess Johnston 1890.
