Scope and Content Whitefield Hill, farmstead, Perth and Kinross One of several farmsteads grouped around the tower-houses of Ashintully and Whitefield, this example lies to the west of Whitefield. Identified from field-survey and just visible in the centre of this aerial photograph, are the remains of the farmstead at Whitefield Hill comprising five buildings and four pens. A kiln and retting pools lie about 100m to the north. Although identified through archaeological field-survey, the farmstead is probably 'Edenarnochkie', on record in 1629 and depicted on Stobie's map of 1783. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
