Scope and Content Watch tower at Westmuir, Perth and Kinross This Roman watch tower is at Westmuir. It is situated just below the crest of a ridge on a slight, S-facing slope. It stood next to the line of a Roman road, and another watch tower stands nearby at Midgate. This is an aerial view of the site. The watch tower itself is represented by the circular cropmark in the centre of the image. To the right is the Roman road, its route parallel to the modern road.
