Scope and Content Letter from Sir Francis Tress Barry to Dr J Anderson, St Leonard's Hill, Windsor, no date. Enclosed is a copy of a letter from John Nicolson to Sir F T Barry, 4 November 1904, describing his excavation, with Murdoch, of the chambered cairn at Shean, Stemster (330mm x 204mm). Also enclosed are 3 sketches of the excavation (CAD/50/1-3) and a description of the structure with measurements and contents of the cairn. Also a report on the human remains by Thomas H Bryce.
