Scope and Content Drawing in sketchbook made during a tour of Orkney and Shetland in August 1801, likely by James Skene of Rubislaw. Page 14: dramatic view of of a narrow sound between very high cliffs, with figures at the top transporting a load from one cliff-top to the other by means of rope. This is probably the cradle slung between the island of Noss and the Holm of Noss, seen by George Low in 1774 and by Sir Walter Scott in 1814.
