Scope and Content Possible henge monument at East Huntingtower, Perth and Kniross The ditch of this possible henge was discovered as a cropmark on oblique aerial photographs. The ditch is interrupted by an entrance causeway on the E. This is an aerial view of the henge and looks towards the S. The ditch of the henge is visible as a dark penannular ring in the corner of the field. An oval-shaped pit can be made out immediately outside the entrance. This possible henge has been levelled by ploughing and is situated in the corner of a field. Several cropmark features have been recorded in the surrounding area, including the ditches of other enclosures and the quarry pits of a Roman road. Source: RCAHMS contribution to SCRAN.
