Scope and Content Fortlet and temporary camp at Lamington, South Lanarkshire This Roman fortlet and temporary camp are at Lamington. The fortlet is on the NW side of the modern road from Coulter to Wandel, about 170 m S of Lamington Church. The camp lies about 40 m away to the N of the fortlet. This is an aerial view of the site. The layout of the NW half of the fortlet can be seen as cropmarks. It consisted of a set of double ditches. The position of the entrance is not obvious from what remains of the fortlet.
