Collection Records of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland, Edinburgh, Scotland

Scope and Content Undated pen and wash sketches on page 8 in sketchbook by George Petrie. The page originally had sketches of 6 objects but two have been cut out, of which one survives as a loose fragment. There is a faint pencil plan of the East Broch of Burray on the transparent sheet between this page and the last, which confirms the provenance of these finds. Spoked antler object, spindle whorl, fragment of composite bone comb, pedestal pot.
