Scope and Content Henge monument at Cononbridge, Ross and Cromarty, Highland This henge is defined by a penannular ditch which is surrounded by a continuous bank. The ditch is broken by a narrow entrance causeway which faces the SE. The bank does not have a corresponding entrance gap. The ditch of the henge is visible as a dark-green circle in the centre of this aerial photograph. It lies in a plot of ground between two houses. The green field beside the henge is now a modern housing estate. This henge survives as an earthwork and is located on the W side of Station Road at Conon Bridge.
