Scope and Content The collection consists of photographs taken by Dr Joanna Close-Brooks between 1968 and 2004, as well as photographic copies of sketches and drawings from the 18th and 19th centuries, and reports and correspondence. The photographs record archaeological excavations of the following: Dairy Park (Dunrobin), Aberdour Road (Dunfermline), Buckstone (Fairmilehead) and Avonglen Quarry (Polmont). These are arranged by excavation, with further sub-groups according to specific sites. In addition to excavation photographs the collection contains photographs of archaeological and architectural sites from across Scotland.
