Scope and Content Large black and white mounted photograph, labelled in ink: 'Castlecary looking towards Railway near north west end of building 1902'; and in pencil 'Similar view xxxvii 308'. Also, on reverse, in pencil: 'Roman Wall Castlecary & R.Castle' A similar photograph of this part of the fort was published in PSAS, vol 37, p.308, fig. 15 and captioned: 'Inner face of South Wall, Central Buildings'.
