Description Photographic copy of four rubbings. The left rubbing shows detail from face of cross-slab (No. 370) standing a few feet out from the wall in the north-east corner of the ruined church of Minnigaff, containing a figure of a man with only the head and none of the details of the body indicated. The upper right rubbing shows detail from lower panel of reverse of the Drosten Stone Pictish cross-slab, (St Vigeans No.1). Bearing decorative knotwork in the centre, the left of the shaft contains an extended animal seen from above, a long-necked winged dragon whose tail is twisted through its rear legs at the bottom; and the right of the shaft contains a snarling creature with claws, a beast with three sets of bristles or humps (a dromedary?), and a pair of interlaced serpents at the bottom. The middle right rubbing shows face of lower part of upright cross-slab, (St Vigeans No.12). In the centre is a cross upon an arched or hooped base, ornamented all over with interlace. The bottom right rubbing shows detail from a cross-slab, known as the 'Wigtown stone', bearing knotwork.
