Scope and Content Various types of interlace surround the cross on Govan no.34 which, itself, has traces of plait-work and 18th century graffiti in the center of the corss-head (the initials AR - IR). The left rubbing depicts a panel of interlace and the right rubbing depicts a narrower panel of vine-like scrolled interlace. These rubbings were not identifiable within the Govan collection.
