Scope and Content Refers to Petrie's kind note and Mr Balfour's valuable gift to the Museum (PSAS 3, 487-8). Has told McCulloch to return Petrie's bone and approves of Petrie's 'proposed arrangement about the stone'. Pencil note refers to notice in the Athenaeum for September1862 that George W Dasent's collection of Sagas and other historical documents was in proof.
