Scope and Content Reply to a letter in which Petrie has explained that he and his family have been ill. Thanks Petrie for the corrected proof and requests a copy of Petrie's paper on Orkney antiquities. Requests drawing of the carvings in Holm of Papa Westray South chambered cairn. Asks whether skull from Bookan cairn is available for study. Petrie has offered him a skull from a grave '12 miles from Kirkwall'. 'Crania Britannica' needs more subscribers.
