Scope and Content Letter to Joseph Anderson from George Petrie, Kirkwall, concerning the start of excavations at the broch [of Lingrow], has found fragments of bone comb, antler fragments and sherds of pottery, and requests grant from the Society to help with expenses. Expects also to dig another broch [probably the Howe of Hoxa].
