Archive History Most of the drawings were given by Sir Henry Dryden to the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland during his lifetime.
Related Material The major part of Dryden's drawings of places elsewhere in Britain are in Northampton and have been digitised by VADS vads.ahds.ac.uk. There are 22 letters spanning 1843-1875 from Dryden to James O Halliwell in Edinburgh University Library Special Collections, J O Halliwell-Phillipps Collection, volumes of letters.
