Administrative History Intended as an international showcase of the Empire's industry, trade and culture, the 1938 Empire Exhibition was held in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow. Dominated by Thomas Tait's Empire Tower, the Exhibition featured pavilions of Industry, Engineering, and of the constituent states of the Empire, as well as fairground rides and attractions.
