Scope and Content A set of exhibition perspectives of buildings designed or adapted by David Bryce (1803-76), architect, which represents the major survival from his office drawings. Projects include Craigends, Drum Castle and Blair.

Archive History Presented to the SNBR by the Law Department of the Bank of Scotland, 1942.

Related Material HES also holds copies of albums of tracings and sketches of decorative sculpture compiled as design source material by David Bryce from early English, Scottish and French examples. Also a plaster copy of sculptor George MacCallum’s bust of Bryce.
