Scope and Content Interior. Turning Mill. Mr Duncan explains the making of his uncle made plugs and pins for the tubular steel golfclub shafts. And could be in all shapes and sizes. The skill was on the setting of the blades. His uncle was kept in fully occupied as supplied the golf club makers in St Andrews, Dublin and London. Possibly the only supplier of these plugs and pins. Mr Duncan made one order only and so the machine has not been used since the 1970s. Mr David Duncan, owner. Born 1928. All working life spent at the Turning Mill (apart from a spell in the army).
