Scope and Content Thanks Petrie for the 'Orcadian' and for his help with hastening the architect. 3. 7 March 1861. Thanks for help with Cathedral but sadly the plan arrived just too late for the date of the lecture, which is now postponed until April. Remembrances to Sheriff Robertson. 4. 29 June 1861, from Freshwater, Isle of Wight. Cannot visit Orkney this summer because going to Italy, but wishes success in the opening of the tumuli. Requests more information about the mason's marks in the Cathedral and a plan of the nave at the same scale as the choir.
